I have been singing professionally since 2002 in Manchester, 'free-styling' at Funky House nights called 'Stud and Frisky' as well as jamming at 'Po Na Na' with several jazz funk and blues bands. After doing a music course I learned how to produce my own tunes and also got my studio set up at home thanks to the government who gave me the money to buy all my equipment!
In early 2006 I moved to London to work with the 'Suzy Wong Sandwich'. The first track 'Desired' was released in March 2006 and subsequently we played as a band all over the UK. We were on Passion fm, Unknown fm and House fm as well as being played by all the major clubs in London and Greece. 'Desired' remixes are still being sold online at www.brokenwax.com and www.dancerecords.com.
Whilst networking in London I stumbled across producer Matt Kootchi; we are currently working on two commercial dance projects and will be working on an album in 2007. Also hooked up with Wonderphunk and we are working on an E.P. as we speak; a major project to rocket 2007!
"My ultimate dream is to be an artist who appeals to everyone from children to the older generation. I want to create music to touch the hearts of everyone and also perform the whole spectrum of genres! Music you can listen to whatever mood you are in!"
As a singer, my style is powerful and diverse. I am good at feeling the music and free styling. Recently I have also been working with a new producer Storm Productionz... Funky house, Hip Hop and also more Chill-out Soul that makes you want to hit the dance floor and feel the vibe!
So, with God's help, watch this space!
