Christophe Barone started his musical journey at the age of 9, playing snare drum in a marching band for about 4 years.

During his teenage years Christophe Barone explored the Parisian jazz & rock music circuit but, in 1987 he decided to leave the band and move on.

In 1993, Christophe Barone moved to London where he joined the then famous "Fresh & Funky" jam sessions at the "ICENI" club in Mayfair.

By 1995, he set up his own weekly jam at "The Zebra Bar" in Soho and kept it grooving for a year.

Since then Christophe Barone has been working on his own project under the name of "Zee Frog". His first single "I Too" (InnerCircleUniversal Recordings Ltd) featuring Shadia Mansour, was written out of his frustration with the manufactured Pop music scene and delivers a sarcastic view on mainstream Pop and Hip-Hop!
