DJ/Producer/Award winner, Rich Louisy has made a big impact on the London music scene over the years. Rich started out with Anonymous (Ticking Time Records) in 1996 with his brother, sister and cousin, producing all their material until 1998. Rich's first love is hip-hop; creating punky textured grinding beats with a driving bass. He is best known for dance floor hit ‘Lovin' and also had success with ‘Get Down' both of which appeared on the House Tunes compilation series. Rich then went on to form ‘Cargo 77' (Raw4Real Records) after a chance meeting with Jack Henny and Bridget Muir in the summer of 2002. Drawing together disco infused with hip hop, house, electro pop, punk, rare grooves and cocktail lounge to create their own unique style of house.

Rich Louisy has worked with an extensive list of artists remixing or producing for Cane (Stringbean Records ®), Smoke City (Jive Records ®), Xpress 2 (Skint Records ®) and the ‘Buffalo Soldier' remix for the Jungle Brothers (V2 Records ®) to name but a few.

Rich has also given a lot of his time to the organisation Raw Material Music and Media, London. Set up in 1993 the organisation provides a means of enabling people to express themselves creatively and to promote access and equality in the arts and the media in the UK. Also since 1997, Rich has helped coach hundreds aspiring young musicians, running workshops and managing several youth programmes such as the Sicily Project; a cultural exchange with young Italian musicians and the Youth for Europe Programme.

In 2006 Rich Louisy was invited to DJ in South Africa for a month before jetting back to write and produce three tracks for Zulu Mobb's new album ‘Zuluminati'. Rich also completed a remix for one of ICE-PR's artists, Jelone (InnerCircleUniversal Recordings Ltd), on his new single ‘Jane (She said..)'. Rich Louisy has a busy year ahead, working on a new solo album and continuing his tutoring of young musicians for the Raw Material Music and Media Organisation in London.
